Vishal Mangalwadi advocates for a "Third Education Revolution" to disciple Africa through Christian-led education, addressing crises in Western universities and combating anti-intellectualism within the church to reclaim education and empower individuals with truth and virtue.
Mangalwadi proposes a strategy to disciple Africa by transforming churches into education centers, providing access to quality curriculum and mentorship, especially in remote areas.
Africa is becoming a vital hub for global Christianity, holding the potential to transform the continent and radiate positive influence worldwide.
There's a concern that corrupting ideologies from Western universities are threatening African societies, emphasizing the need to ground African leaders in truth and virtue. He critiques interpretations of eschatology that promote passivity, advocating instead for active engagement in spiritual warfare to establish God's kingdom on Earth.
The removal of the Bible from schools and the rise of secular education have created a crisis of truth, necessitating the church to reclaim education. Mangalwadi suggests creating a virtual university offering free curriculum and training for academic pastors, to recapture the university space in South Africa and beyond.
Vishal Mangalwadi (1949-) is an international lecturer, social reformer, cultural and political columnist, and author of many books, among which: “The Book that made our world” and his latest book: “The Third Educational Revolution”.
 
Vishal Mangalwadi earned a master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Indore, India, in 1974. In 1975, he married Ruth, who was pursuing a master’s degree in Theology. Vishal and Ruth moved to his father's farm in India and founded an association to support rural farmers.
In 1977, he published his first book, "The World of Gurus”. In later years, he founded various political parties and was deeply committed to his country. Since 1996, he has given various lectures and published texts worldwide. For several years, he has promoted tuition-free, online higher education.
