Biblical Perspective of Family
Families were meant to mirror God's covenantal relationship with His people. God is in a covenant relationship with Himself, God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. As such, family is supposed to be a reflection of the Godhead. The Bible underscores family as a divine institution established by God Himself. It emphasizes mutual respect, unconditional love, forgiveness among family members along with responsibility towards each other's well-being.
Ivy Tembo was born on 31st May 1975 in Blantyre. Her parents are from Mtatataka Dedza. She is married to Pyoka Tembo, and they have 3 children. Ivy is a Missionary, has been trained in YWAM in Switzerland in Discipleship Training School and also in Biblical Worldview. In her School Biblical Christian Worldview, she focused on Family as the intergrow part of society.
Ivy holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing and Information Systems. She co runs a business with her husband called Pickfit Tyres in Lilongwe. She is a board treasure of Christian Heritage School, which is a Ministry under Capital City Baptist Church that focuses on providing quality education for the underprivileged children.
Ivy also closely works with King's Institute of Transformation.
Ivy will speak English and be translated into Chichewa
